Senator Risch says negotiators bamboozled by Iran in first nuclear agreement, seeks to avoid domestic political repeat

Senate Foreign Relations Committee ranking member Jim Risch of Idaho says at State Department nomination hearing that reentering a nuclear deal without dealing with malign activities was delusional, once again the United States would walk away bamboozled by the Iranians, hoping the Biden administration would learn from mistakes of the past and getting an agreement ratified by America, if it were another partisan agreement three years thereon would see a cadre of Republican nominees in the run for party standard bearer asked what to do with it would say to set it on fire and shred it, put it on the floor and stop it as happened last time, all knowing where the US wound up with that, instead needing something embraced by all parties do not wind up again in the same place.
