France Organizes The Second Round Of Legislative Elections

The National Rally and its allies obtained 33.34% of the votes on the evening of the first round of the legislative elections. The New Popular Front obtained 27.99% and the presidential coalition Ensemble 20.04%. At the end of the first round, Sunday evening, a very high number of triangulars was announced: up to 306 matches with three possible candidates in the second round, compared to only eight during the 2022 legislative elections. 215 candidates withdrew to block the RN in the second round.
