Congresswoman Axne says corporations mislead foreign hiring in annual reports

Iowa Congressman Cindy Axne says in debate on her bill requiring employee displacement disclosure to the SEC that Wells Fargo had laid off at 400 workers in her district claiming it was due to technological advancements but dozens of laid-off workers were directed to trained replacements overseas and across the country corporations were shipping jobs overseas, leaving American workers high and dry to benefit their bottom line but worse yet, they were not required to disclose in their annual reports where jobs were relocated, making it easier for them to hide moving jobs overseas and making it easier for them to deceive the public about inaccurate job creation for instance hiring back in India where in reality hard-working Iowans might be left unemployed wondering how they could pay their bills.
