INTERVIEW Eric Schlosser and Robert Kenner on speaking to people who produce our food. Large industrial and small organic food producers. The large industrial corporations came across as off limits. Consequences of small producers speaking out about food production. Corporate power threatening and destroying critics, controlling information, the risks of being sued, on Oprah Winfrey being sued for suggesting Mad Cow disease was in the United States, they used this to send a warning message to journalists and critics. Walmart was the only one who participated in the film and spoke openly. The film was initially dismissed. As publicity and awarness was raised, they realized consumers were very interested and hold alot of power. Giving people a different point of view.
