Call for Government support as modular housing for homeless unveiled

Call for Government support as property developer Hill team up with the Salvation Army and Citizens UK to deliver 200 specially designed modular homes for single homeless people. Stephen Serrant, who is being helped by a similar scheme run by the Salvation Army and Citizens UK in Ilford, said his dwelling "is like a home" after he experienced a period of rough sleeping and 'sofa-surfing'.
