Air Quality Alert Issued For New York City Over Smoke From Canadian Wildfires

An air quality alert remained in effect in New York City and parts of New Jersey due to the continued burning of wildfires in Canada. New York City has experienced some of its worst air quality days in years as a result of the fires which scientists believe are partly the result of a warming planet.
