Czech village hosts Napoleon's Battle of Austerlitz reenactment

TVAROZNA, SLAVKOV U BRNA, CZECH REPUBLIC - DECEMBER 3: History enthusiasts dressed in costume wielding muskets, pistols and sabres clashed, firing at each other and reenacting the Battle of Austerlitz, one of the greatest battles in modern history on its 217th anniversary on Saturday (Dec. 3) in Czech Republic's Tvarozna where French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte won one of his most famous victories.Approximately 1000 participants from 14 countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria, France, Lithuania, Romania, Great Britain, Canada, United States), 50 horses, 12 cannons took part in the battle.Reenactment of the Battle of Austerlitz, fought on 2 December 1805, in which French emperor Napoleon achieved a crucial defeat over the united armies of Austrian emperor Franz I and Russian.
