I caught a glimpse of a pale green patch, this was the airfield, so I nudged him quickly and said there it is and we banked off to the right and flew along the airfield, saw lots of little black figures on it, thought one of them must be Mike somewhere down there ... we turned around and came in ... saw two little glints in the bushes, realised someone was pointing rifles at me .... I ran away to other side of aeroplane, there were the three chappies ... Roy and I were up on the flight deck, you chaps were down the back and there was a little bit of noise going on ... I said to Roy "We've actually done it" ... I went down and said "would you like a beer?" ...
