GAZA, PALESTINE - 2024/09/14: Palestinians inspect their destroyed homes after the Israeli aircraft targeted an entire residential block in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in western Gaza. The Gaza conflict, reignited in October 2023, began with a surprise attack by Hamas militants on Israeli towns leading to mass causalities and the abduction of civilians. In response, Israel launched heavy airstrikes and a ground offensive in Gaza. The fighting has caused thousands of deaths on both sides, with Gaza facing severe humanitarian crises due to blocked aid and infrastructure damage. The conflict has drawn international attention with calls for ceasefires, while tensions remain high, escalating the longstanding Israel-Palestinian conflict.
