Denver Museum of Nature and Science hosts Science on the Spot.

DENVER, CO - AUGUST 11: Many moths and butterflies use mimicry to confuse or deceive predators, such as birds. The purple butterfly in the center is the Colorado Hairstreak, the official State Butterfly of Colorado. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science hosts its "Science on the Spot", animals in the museum collection that are great examples of mimicry on September 11, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. The museum will host these events over the next few months with different topics, including "Good Parents, Bad Parents" on Sept. 27 and "Oh the Horror" just in time for Halloween on Oct. 27.
