A black silk taffeta gown (R) and a classic formal dinner dress of ivory silk crepe (L) both worn by Diana, Princess of Wales are pictured inside Kensington Palace in central London, on March 20, 2012, during a photocall to showcase a GBP12m (14.4m euros/19m USD) restoration of the historic palace. The black silk taffeta gown was worn on Diana's first official engagement with Prince Charles in March 1981, and the classic formal dinner dress was worn by Diana at a state banquet for the King and Queen of Malaysia in 1993.
