HOKKAIDO, JAPAN - JAN. 30: A light pillar, a natural phenomenon that appears when the sun lights reflex where vapors in the air froze during mid-winter dawns, was seen in Japan in the early morning on January 30. The sun pillar was witnessed at Asahikawa, Hokkiado, the northernmost island of the country as good natural conditions met - low temperature around minus 20 degrees centigrade and a windless clam weather.
