- We did both have a choice, we looked at the option and talked extensively about a minority government backed with a confidence and supply agreement and we had a meeting about it over the last couple of days, we looked at it and thought this is so uninspiring, we could do it, it might last for a month or six months or maybe a year or perhaps a bit longer but it's not actually going to do what we came into politics to achieve, we want to give the country good government
