Alabama Democrat Terri Sewell of the House Intelligence Committee says to turn to a June 2016 meeting with the Russian delegation, asking former Special Counsel Robert Mueller if Trump campaign officials were upset the Russians did not have dirt, Mueller responding generally yes, Sewell referring to Donald Trump Junior upset and Jared Kushner texting Paul Manafort calling it a waste of time, Mueller answering that was in the report as she specified, Sewell to be clear that top Trump campaign officials would have accepted dirt, except that a meeting with Russians to get that help but were disappointed because the dirt was not as good as hoped, asking Mueller if anyone in the Trump campaign ever told the FBI the offer, Mueller answering he did not believe so.
