LONDON, ENGLAND - JUNE 09: Sotheby's previews one of the most important and iconic sculptures, Edgar Degas' Petite Danseuse de quatorze ans at Sotheby's on June 9, 2015 in London, England. Degas' sculpture, estimated at £10 - 15m, is part of the Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale on 24th June 2015. One of only a handful of bronze casts that remain in private hands, its forthcoming sale represents a rare opportunity to acquire an icon of Impressionist art. The majority are housed in major international museums (Tate, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Musee d'Orsay). The work will go on view to the public in London on Friday 12th June.
