AIDS Patients Protest Proposed State Cuts To AIDS Services Programs

LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 05: AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and AIDS patients march to protest millions of dollars in cuts to life-saving AIDS services proposed by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to try to solve the state budget crisis on June 5, 2009 in Hollywood, California. The demonstrators are calling on the governor to reverse $170 million of proposed budget cuts in HIV/AIDS services as he seeks to close a $23 billion deficit in the state budget. Many cuts would cause the loss of federal matching dollars the state receives based on set funding formulas as well as additional federal dollars based on actual case load.
