Comoran troops display for the press boxes of ammunition which were supposedly sent by France to renegade Anjouan leader Mohamed Bacar, in Mutsamudu the capital of Anjouan on 27 March 2008. The ousted rebel leader of the Comoros island of Anjouan, Bacar, will be placed under investigation on weapons charges when he arrives in Reunion, a French minister said today. Bacar was being held at the main airport on the French Indian Ocean territory of Mayotte, where he escaped in a speedboat after being driven off Anjouan by Comoran and African Union troops yesterday.
