At 1 million euros a hectare of vines, family owned vineyard production is becoming threatened as more and more are being bought by wealthy millionaires from abroad.The vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin are one of the most prestigious French vineyards in the world and produce 32 of the major AOC wines of Burgundy on the 88 hectares.
