James and Audrey Foster Prize 2007 Finalists

BOSTON - JANUARY 24: Through a variety of media, including fresh flowers, Sheila Gallagher explores belief in what we cannot see. "What -- if any -- form can discussion of the sublime take place in?" she asks. "It just might be that dyed carnations do the trick." Gallagher is one of the finalists for this years James and Audrey Foster Prize, awarded by the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA). The award recognizes Boston-area artists of exceptional artistic promise. (It was established in 1999 as the ICA Artist Prize.) The winner will be announced in February but there's an exhibit up now of the work by all four artists. (Photo by Michele McDonald/The Boston Globe via Getty Images)
