This recent undated photo shows a sculpture of an Australian World War I soldier at the Anzac War Memorial in Sydney, alongside a building displaying the American Express logo. Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) data released 29 August 2003 showed private sector credit, including personal credit cards, was 13.6 percent higher in the year to June than last year, with the RBA expected to announce this week that interest rates will be kept on hold at 4.75 percent for the 15th consecutive month, in an effort not to encourage consumers to take on higher mortgages.
