Former ASP World Champion Sofia Mulanovich (Lima, Peru) (pictured) captured an inaugural Roxy Pro Snapper Rocks title, defeating Samantha Cornish (AUS) in the Final on the Gold Coast of Australia today. The result marks Mulanovich¿s best at this event after a string of equal 17th finishes here in the past. Mulanovich now holds the coveted ASP World No. 1 spot. The Roxy Pro is the first of eight stops on the ASP Women¿s World Tour and includes the world¿s top 17 full-time touring female professional surfers plus one wildcards. The event has a ten day waiting period but requires only two full days of competition to be completed.
