Mathew White, 6 yrs old a bicycle for one of his first rides since a freak accident punctured his bowels and nearly killed him.Two months ago six- year-old Mathew White was riding down the footpath. He turned to ride up into his driveway, but the handlebars kept going, Mathew lost control and he fell heavily on to them.As he walked up the driveway he let out an almighty scream. He was incoherent and vomiting.Mathew, of Asquith on Sydney's upper North Shore, was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, where he was operated on and found to have a perforated bowl.
