Spears' latest attempt to regain visitation rights to her two sons was rejected 23 January 2008 after the troubled pop star failed to appear for a Los Angeles court hearing, officials said. Spears, 26, arrived at Los Angeles Superior Court for a morning hearing in her custody dispute but left abruptly without entering the court room, court spokesman Allan Parachini said.
