Grinnell Lake is a small (0.5 mile, 0.76km) long lake in Glacier National Park in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Montana. Following two short boat rides across Swiftcurrent Lake and Lake Josephine that depart from Many Glacier Hotel, Grinnell Lake can be reached by an easy 0.9 mile (1.4km) walk. More ambitious hikers who take the 3.8 mile (6.1km) Grinnell Glacier trail climb high above Grinnell Lake, from which its striking blue-green glacial silt waters can be seen far below.
