The Palestinian flag flutters over the cave hamlet Khirbat al-Mufaqara located in South Hebron Hills, West bank, Israel. For the past two decades, Israeli authorities have been trying to expel Palestinian living in the South Hebron Hills region, on the ground of living illegally in Israeli military fire zones. Residents and human rights groups have been petitioning for years against demolition orders and demanding to deliver water to Palestinian communities that are banned from connecting to the water grid.
