Gilbert Bargayo is crucified on Good Friday in Tuburan, Cebu, Philippines. After a dream Bargayo had as a child he was called to act out this real life crucifixion so that others can reflect on their own sins during the Lenten season. In preparation for his crucifixion Bargayo fasted for one month only eating fruits and vegetables. Special steel nails and a wooden mallet are used to nail Bargayo's hands and feet to a wooden cross in front of over 15,000 people.
