Jerash, Jordan - December 20, 2010:Legion VI Ferrata, the "Ironclads" performing different maneuvers , as part of a performance at a hippodrome in Jerash, situated in the north of Jordan.Jerash is known for the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, also referred to as Antioch on the Golden River. The Roman Army and Chariot Experience (RACE), in co-operation with the Jordan Ministry of Tourism and the Jordan Tourism Board, have introduced a show featuring Roman Army warfare techniques, gladiators and Roman chariots races, to bring to life historical events that took place in the ancient arena.
